Our Therapists

Seattle Physical Therapist Dzuka Lin

Dzuka Lin, MSPT

My role as a Physical Therapist is simple. I guide and provide the tools patients need to get back to their functional lifestyles by educating the patient, engaging the patient in their individualized and progressive program, and preventing further injuries and problems in the future.

I received a Masters in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. As a specialty, I studied neuromuscular imbalances in relation to functional movement patterns. As a tai chi instructor and practitioner, I enjoy integrating similar dynamic movement/balance patterns in my own therapy exercises. I am also a trained classical violinist, and am in a position to address the overuse and postural problems often incurred by musicians.

Seattle Physical Therapist Deanna Irwin Sires PT OCS

Deanna Irwin-Sires, PT, OCS

I see my role as a Physical Therapist as an educator, teaching people about their body, how it optimally functions and its responses to acute and chronic stresses.  I believe if people understand the mechanics of their pain/injury, they are empowered to manage, heal and prevent further injuries.

I received my Masters of Physical Therapy at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, and am an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association.  One of my special interests is treating the neuromuscular dysfunction that can occur during or as a result of pregnancy, or post partum.  I also enjoy treating a variety of orthopedic issues and areas of the body.  Outside the clinic, I’m busy enjoying the company of my 3 and 6 year old children, and like to ski, swim, and spend time at our family cabin.

As a Physical Therapist, I feel my biggest role is assisting people in reaching their functional best to allow them to enjoy life to the fullest.  I enjoy a dynamic exercise-based approach in caring for patients’ needs and promoting active, healthy living.

I earned a Masters in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  One area of special interest to me is Ergonomics.  I have trained and completed certification by The Back School of Atlanta, as well as performing on-site ergonomic assessments in office and work environments. I feel educating patients on their condition, along with effective treatment and prevention strategies have the biggest impact on their current and long-term health.  I have pursued outpatient traveling physical therapy in multiple states, which combined my love of travel with a great career in helping people do what they love in life.  Outside of the clinic, I enjoy traveling, music, hiking, and sports.
